コマンドラインツールでログイン
mysql -u[ユーザー名] -p -h [IP or HOST_NAME] --port [ポート番号] [DB_NAME]主なオプションについて紹介します。

-u[ユーザー名] | MySQLのユーザー名を指定します。 |
-p | パスワードの入力が求められます。 |
-h [IP or HOST_NAME] | リモートサーバへ接続したい場合に指定します。 |
--port [ポート番号] | ポート番号を指定します。 |
[DB_NAME] | 利用DBを指定します。ログイン後に指定できるので、ここで指定しなくても良いです。 |

mysql> -pオプション を指定しているので、指定したMySQLユーザのパスワードを入力するように求められました。
ログイン後は、useでDBを切替えることができます。
